Theoretical-methodological foundations of the nature activities off the Cuban Hiking Movement
Main Article Content
Abstract
In Cuba, nature recreation has been an enjoyable option since the last century, but there was no movement that integrated its participants. In 2013, a space for hikers emerged, achieving sustainability and social acceptance. However, there was no rational explanation for its results. The objective is to determine the theoretical and methodological foundations of the nature activities carried out by the Cuban Hiking Movement. A systematization of experiences is carried out to retrieve, organize, and analyze information based on the unequivocal experiences of its members. The characteristics and regularities of the nature activity model carried out by the Movement were elaborated to answer the key question of any systematization of experiences: Why did what happened happen?.
