Physical-recreational activities of pedagogical careers´ students in the use of free time

Abstract
The deficiencies in the use of the free time with physical-recreational activities of pedagogical careers' students, limit the professional's formation. The objective is to diagnose the current situation regarding the use of free time with physical-recreational activities in the students of pedagogical careers of the University of Villa Clara. A descriptive study is carried out. It was based on the concepts of culture, recreation, physical recreation, physical-recreational activity, free time, participation, youth and community. As a result the particularities of the current student life were studied, it stands out that they ignore activities and healthy recreation forms. The institution valued the great importance of the topic that gives answer to one of the current problems of the youths in the society.
