Study of the Efficacy of de Horsford Formula in de Suppression of Myocardial Ischemia
Main Article Content
Abstract
The problem to be solved is, that in the theoretical background it is stated that physical exercise raises the ischemic threshold; however, there is a theoretical gap to explain the possibility of suppressing myocardial ischemia as an expression of a better clinical-functional state; the objective was to determine the efficacy of the Horsford formula to stop ischemic processes in the myocardium; a case study was conducted, with a retrospective-prospective longitudinal design, in a subject with a diagnosis of myocardial infarction acute (IMA). The following methods were used: analytical-synthetic, observation, documentary consultation, and measurement. As a result, the object of the investigation was modeled, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Horsford formula.
