Sports physical habits to contribute on healthy life style in secondary of adolescents of the City of Chihuahua, México

Abstract
The present research work has focused on sports physical habits and lifestyle of Mexican adolescents. Objective: to know life habits, practice of sports and physical activity in their free time, of adolescents of the City of Chihuahua Mexico. Methodology: This study was descriptive-explanatory, with a quantitative approach, was used in a social survey method, based on the use of a quantitative instrument. The sample consisted of 695 adolescents. Results: we found a high physical-sports practice (88%) among adolescents, with differences of 5% lower in women, their duration is greater than 60 minutes in 44% of them. The three most practiced activities are soccer 22%, athletics 26% and basketball 11%. The fun is the biggest motivation for physical-sports practice, this is done in 69% with friends, but the reason for practice in 24% were the parents or some family. Conclusion: most of the adolescents surveyed have adequate physical and sports habits in their free time as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), this contributes significantly to the positive attitudes and habits that favor a healthy life and that should remain, over the years.
