Teaching the freestyle Poomsae at the basic level of the cuban taekwondo
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article is the result of a preliminary study about methodological indications that can be taken into account for the teaching-learning process of the Free Style Poomsae modality, which was recently included in the international and national competitive system. This study, the first of its kind, referred to the Freestyle Poomsae, at least in this form of research in our country, is based on the lack of methodological documents for the teaching of this type of Poomsae in Cuba and the need to promote a pedagogical process for the new competitive modality with a scientific-methodological support. All of which will contribute to a gradual, stable and healthy learning. As fundamental results, a compendium of methodological indications for the inclusion of the modality of Free Style Poomsae in the Integral Program of Preparation of the current Cuban Taekwondist was achieved.
