The structure of the basketball´s single actions in the defensive and offensive rebound

Abstract

It is such relevant the range that basketball player´s action of fighting to take the possession of the ball under the boards that there is an unity of specialist´s opinions in relation to the team which controls the rebound will have more opportunity to win the match. Different authors describe some of actions themselves, and they give general recommendations for their fulfillment mistakes that the players commit when they carry out these actions. However, they don´t explain in its entirety, the technical - tactical content of the nowadays forms of the actions during the offensive and defensive rebound. It limits its comprehension and this aspect make influence in the teaching - learning process quality. The current article aims to give a model of single basketball player´s actions of fighting for the rebound, that’s why in this work, are used the following methods: bibliographical search, analysis and synthesis, induction - deduction and model. The detail description of action components during the fight to take possession of the ball under the boards in the defensive and offensive process sat out in this material, allows a better understanding of its essence, so it favors not only the formation of an optical - logical representation about its way of solution, but also the basic orientation (OFA) in the player. This formation could be useful for trainers and students of professional formation institutions in the sphere of Physical Culture and Sports, players and basketball lovers.
