Study and learning of openings in chess
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Chess game is divided into three phases. The study of the opening, its first phase, due to the development of information technology and the growing flow of information regarding the subject, has become a very demanding process and sometimes difficult to organize. The objective of this study is to expose the stages of the theoretical preparation process in the opening that the chess player must go through and to clarify what must be done in each of these stages according to the criteria of important authors such as Mark Dvoretsky, John Nunn and Jaan Ehlvest. The method used was documentary analysis and bibliographic review. The research provided recommendations on how the work should be approached in each of these stages in order to optimize the results of the preparation.
