The tactical performance of judo athletes in Havana

Abstract
The changes done in Judo regulation system in 2010 were put in to practice with the intention to keep the spectacular character of this event. Prior to changes, was observed during competitions that in Judo athletes´ attacks prevailed actions of opponents’ legs hold reaching satisfactory results, but during the last editions of national school games, after the changes done in this sport regulation, the results were not as we expected. The aim of this study is to determine what are the aspects that teenager Judo athletes´ performance depends on. A descriptive study was implemented to contrast the diagnosis related to the current Judo athletes´ stage and the characteristics of the competitive activity in order to acquire the elements needed in their performance. Interviews were also done to Judo specialist and also surveys to athletes who participated in national games of this category. As a result, was proved that athlete’s didn´t have any irregularities in relation to their training process, but in their adaptation to the new conditions that demands the competition. It constitutes a condition to select those instructions that were changed, and in this way, to obtain the elements to direct the sport training process.
