Volitional qualities in the Ana Fidelia Quiros Moret sport career

Abstract
This work highlights, the objective of this work is to analyze the life and work of the athlete Ana Fidelia Quiros Moret taking into account the relevant volitional qualities in her sport career. A case study is carried out in which a life story is made through research qualitative (analytical). The methods of interviews, focused interview, documental analysis, as well as the triangulation of sources and methods are used. Thus, the main periods of this athlete's sporting life are described and analyzed and the volitional psychological aspects relevant to her sporting career are determined, among which volitional features such as perseverance, discipline, responsibility and psychological resilience are highlighted. This life story will allow us to inform our students of Physical Culture and athletes, the values of this outstanding woman that transcend our sporting history, which due to its characteristics exhibits exemplary conditions and must be taken into account by our professors in training. and education in values and the sense of Cuban identity in our athletics.
